How to Mystify Customers with Last Minute Halloween Marketing

You may have outgrown the age to trick-or-treat, that doesn’t mean your company can’t get into the Halloween spirit. While most of the holiday activities are geared toward a younger audience, Halloween is the perfect opportunity to pull out some of your best marketing strategies. Show your customers some cool tricks that will certainly treat them this Halloween. Here are some last minute ways that you can embrace the spooky spirit. And instead of scaring away your customers, you’ll have them hypnotized by your ghoulish get-up and mystifying marketing tactics.

Villainous Videos
Here’s a way to showcase the creative and fun side of your business. Customers like to see the personality behind the operation, and this is your chance to capture it all on video. If your company throws a costume party, give your customers a glimpse into some of the funniest or craziest costumes to showcase the fun side. You can post the videos in your social media to really get some buzz.

Or, use the video as an opportunity to promote your business using a Halloween theme. Get your sales team to dress as zombies and your human resources department to run from the zombie apocalypse, or some other crazy scenario. For an added bonus, develop a storyline that ties in your products and services to your video. Plus, your actors and actresses (employees) will get a fun break from their normal routines.

Ghoulish Giveaways
Not all of your customers have a reason to go trick-or-treating. But let’s face it no one outgrows candy. Everyone loves a treat, so why not put together a gift bag for your customers. You could just have them available for your walk-ins on Halloween or hand deliver to your best customers. And as if you needed more reason, chocolate has been proven to boost moods. So go ahead and sweeten up your customers—literally.

Luring Logos
You’re never too old to carve a pumpkin. And at your company, you can carve pumpkins with a purpose. Hold a contest with employees to see who can carve the best company-themed pumpkin. Prizes will help get people into the spirit. Once they’re completed, find ways to display them to your customers. Feature them in your video, display them outside the office or send them home with your employees to display.

Or, another fun idea is to have your business carve pumpkins as gifts for your customers. They’ll love the creative thought that went into the gift and display it for everyone to see. Plus, it makes a great outing for your business to deliver the pumpkins around town. After all, nothing beats the face-to-face interaction with customers.
