CompuMail in Southington, Connecticut has purchased a NexPress Digital Color Production Press from Eastman Kodak Company. The new printing system equips CompuMail to help clients create more effective sales and marketing communications, thanks to the press’ advanced personalization, variable data & dimensional printing abilities.

Using NexPress, CompuMail is able to produce one-to-one dimensional marketing materials. This means that each printed piece can now not only be highly personalized, with a unique marketing message and recipient-specific imagery, but now CompuMail can bring their clients’ documents to life by adding tactile dimensional images and text.

“Our clients will now be able to better support their sales & marketing channels by producing more highly targeted sales materials” says Dana Rickard, President of CompuMail. Our new Kodak NexPress allows us to custom create each printed piece with specific messages and graphics targeted for each recipient. The ability to add texture to text and images will be the differentiating factor that sets our client’s message apart from their competitions.”

“The combination helps make printed materials more effective in gaining mindshare. Before you can effectively communicate a message, you have to attract their attention,” said Glen Nemeroff, Operating Vice President. “Our NexPress lets our clients do that with high-quality full-color tactile imagery that furthers the one-to-one marketing relationship. We’re excited to bring the magic back to printing and bring our client’s documents to life.”

With its new NexPress, CompuMail can put the strengths of variable data printing (VDP) and versioning to work for a client’s marketing campaign. VDP allows the combination of images and messages to be unique for each prospect. Versioning lets sales tools to be targeted to specific groups. Adding tactile coatings keeps the recipient engaged for a longer period of time thus increasing the opportunity for a greater response by the recipient.

“With NexPress, our clients now have the industry’s most advanced printing system available. No other digital press offers the registration or quality that Kodak’s NexPress offers. Our sales force is now armed with game changing technology that elevates traditional digital and offset printing to an entirely new level. Two dimensional just became 3-D without the glasses” says Nemeroff.
